Between 4:30 and 6:30 the following incidents happened to me, in order:
- pulled over FIVE MILES from the freeway exit to my campus, ticketed for reckless driving for going 82 in a 65. I would complain but I had an ounce of pot in my Longchamp in the back seat so I'm just happy to not have a felony. The cop said the judge would probably give me just a speeding ticket since I was only two over the 80 mark for reckless vs. speeding.
- got to my house for this year and the power is cut off. Call my friend Sally to get our landlords number and my phone starts beeping that its running out of batteries.
- thank god some of my friends were already in town so I went to their house, plugged my phone in and got my landlord to pay a past due bill and get the electriciy back on before...
_ I had a meeting at 5:30 with the three families I'm nannying for this year. I'm watching three third grade girls that are all friends for $12 an hour. Sweetness. that all went well until...
- I go to leave and I have locked my keys in my car. Hence I am locked out of my car and house.
- Betsy picks me up, I get our handyman on the phone who tells me he can unlock my house at 8:15.
- I run into some girls my year who give me a ride back to my house, wait for my handyman to show up and then drive me to my car. thank GOD for small schools in a small town.
SERIOUSLY WHO DOES THAT HAPPEN TO? And since all our beer went sour with the no refrigeration issue all I wanted to do was smoke the tiniest bit of pot and there is not a single lighter to be found in this house. I have shit for luck today. Tomorrow just has to be fantastic, right?

started my own blogspot thing today as something for the summer. figured it could keep me occupied at work and over the next couple weeks before i start my internships. friend me if you have one, come on over and check it out either way.
